We understand that some individuals may feel that higher education is out of their reach. In response, NEC's admission to its online programs is based jointly on your personal work experience and your GPA. We don't require a GMAT or GRE for admission, and offer FAFSA tuition assistance for all of our start dates. And best of all, you can graduate in 18 months rather than 2 years.

Master of Arts in Public Policy
Considered the “hot spot” by politicians’ on the campaign trail, New England College is pleased to present its Online Master of Arts of Public Policy (MAPP) program to prepare its students for future opportunities in government, non-profit organizations, or the political process itself. The program concentrates on the intersection between abstract policy and real world politics. You will gain an understanding of the intellectual foundations for key public policy discussions and how the outcomes affect change in the political process. You will also gain analytical and advocacy skills and will be prepared for advancing your career in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
There are four core competencies that you, as a graduate of the MAPP program, will take away from the program:
1. A clear understanding of the origins of American political institutions, as well as a foundation in ethics and leadership.
2. A strong understanding of the key governmental institutions that formulate and implement public policy in our society, including Congress, the Judiciary, the Presidency and state and local governments.
3. An in-depth grasp of the political process in America, including the mechanics of campaigns, elections, campaign finance and the media.
4. An ability to effectively analyze public policy issues, including basic economic analysis, as well as the ability to present arguments persuasively and logically, and to communicate clearly, correctly and convincingly in writing and speech.

MS in Management/Banking and Financial Management

The Online Master of Science in Management/Banking and Financial Management (MSBFM) program from New England College will prepare you for future opportunities not only in banks and other financial institutions, but virtually any non-profit or for-profit organization in any industry. The program concentrates on the management skills you need to advance rather than the technical skills you’ve obtained in your work experience. The program teaches you leadership skills in organizational management and leadership, project management, ethics, accounting and finance for leadership, and strategic planning and policy. The Banking and Financial concentration portion delves into topics such as principles of finance and insurance, quality analysis for technology and managing global operations.
